ATUFS Certification in India

As we know India is the second largest producer of textiles and clothing in the world. Thanks to the many favorable policies provided by the Indian government, India’s fashion industry is thriving. The Indian government has rolled out various programme, policies and initiatives, including programs such as Skill India and Make in India, to help create domestic jobs, especially for women and rural populations in the country.
In order to promote the development of the textile industry in the country, the Indian government has introduced various schemes, one of the schemes is Technology Upgrading Fund Scheme (ATUFS): It is a scheme aimed at promoting exports through “Made in India” with zero impact and zero defects, and provides capital investment subsidies for the purchase of machinery for the textile industry;
Indian manufacture units to get 10% more subsidy under ATUFS
Under the Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS)，Indian producers of manufacture like blankets,curtains,crochet laces and bed-sheets are now eligible for an additional 10 per cent capital investment subsidy (CIS)of up to Rs 20 crore.The additional subsidy will be disbursed after a period of three years and is subject to a verification mechanism.
A notification from the textiles ministry informed that every eligible manufacture unit which has availed 15 per cent benefit under ATUFS will be paid an additional 10 per cent capital investment subsidy on their investment up to an additional maximum cap of Rs 20 crore.
“Thus,the total cap on subsidy for such a unit is enhanced under ATUFS from Rs 30 crore to Rs 50 crore,of which Rs 30 crore is for 15 percent ClS and Rs 20 crore for the additional 10 per cent ClS,”the notification added.
Good news that In September 2022, we have successfully made ATUF Certificate in India, this certificate will highly promote our business with India customer, they can get good subsidy, and Reduce the burden of enterprise.
It take long time,a lot of cumbersome procedures and a lot of documents for us to get this, about 1.5 years, and in this time we have arranged related person to India embassy in Beijing to submit this document face to face many times.
Now We have sold our non woven and other machines to India customers, and through ATUF, customers get good subsidy in his city, and this year an old customer is going to extend his production with needle punching line, i believe we will make more and more business in India market.
